Over 40 Shelties were taken out of less than desirable conditions by the Apache Junction Animal Control. The vast majority of these dogs may be placed with the Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club's Rescue Program for rehoming.
The immediate need is for Foster homes.
In the long run, forever homes are needed for these Shelties.

Your rights in Arizona to purchase, show and breed purebred dogs is in jeopardy! Arizona House Bill 2516 calls for mandatory spay/neuter of all dogs and cats 6 months of age or older. Click here Mandatory Spay Neuter for information on why this is a BAD BILL! If you are an Arizona resident, please call your Representative (in the House) and let him/her know you oppose HB2516. Thank you.

Welcome to our website!

We live on an acre in Mesa, (suburb of Phoenix) Arizona. The dogs love to race around and bark at the neighbor’s horses. We mainly have blue merles, tri colors and bi colors, but have a couple of very nice tri factored sables as well.

We participate in AKC conformation shows all over the southwest. We really love to place dogs in performance homes--several of our "kids" are in agility or obedience homes.

Our goal is the same as any other serious breeder/exhibitor: Quality, healthy Shetland Sheepdogs. Temperament is important. Structure is important. Type is important. The trick is to get it all in one package! We hope you will enjoy looking at our dogs as much as we do!
