RUMOUR




October 2003 - Rumour finishes his AKC championship
November 2003 - Rumour wins four back-to-back Best of Breed wins at the UKC shows in Phoenix. This starts and finishes his UKC championship.
November 15th - Rumour was Best of Breed over 60 Shelties at Canada Del Oro
January 3rd 2004 - Rumour receives an Award of Merit from judge Carmen Battaglia
January th 2004 - Rumour was Best of Breed under Janice McClary at the Palm Springs show
March 2004 - Rumour receives another Best of Breed under judge Judith Park.
Rumour took a break from conformation to learn agility with Andra Williams. He has earned his novice jumpers (NJC-V), novice gamblers (NGC-V) and novice tunneler's title (TN-N)
September 2004 - Rumour earns another Best of Breed under judge Patti A. Long Smith.
October 2, 2004 - Rumour earns Best of Breed under judge Frank McCartha Jr.
October 3, 2004 - Rumour earns Best of Breed at the Chaparral Kennel Club under judge Joyce A. Vanek. He followed this up with a Group 2 placement.
October 4, 2004 - Rumour earns Best of Breed at the Chaparral Kennel Club under judge Robert J. Moore. He followed this up with a Group 3 placement.
October 9, 2004 - Black Mountain KC of Nevada - Rumour earns Best of Breed under judge Charles Chester. This was really special because his daughter, Shenell's Sunni Delight, was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex that day.
October 16, 2004 - Kachina Kennel Club - Rumour earns another Best of Breed under judge Patti Long Smith.




Zoe

Zoe has been a busy girl at both Canadian and US shows this spring. She is pictured above finishing her Canadian championship on April 3rd from the 9-12 puppy class.
She won a 4 point WB, BOS (over specials) from the 9-12 puppy class at the Mid-Arizona Sheltand Sheepdog specialty. Thanks to Mrs. Bobbie Combee for the win. She was handled by her coowner, Corrine Rainsforth, to all these wins.
Zoe returned to the States after finishing in Canada in hopes of picking up some more US points. She was Winners Bitch for 2 points at the Sierra Vista KC. Thanks to judge Dorothy Welsh for the win.




Nick

Nick won a 4 point major reserve at the Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club specialty February 15, 2004.
Nick attended his first UKC shows April 3rd. He was Winners Male the first show and Winners Male and Best of Winners at the second show. This gives him two of the three "competition" wins needed for his UKC championship. He was handled by Beki at both shows.
Nick was Reserve Winners Dog (to Turbo) at the Albuquerque show May 22nd. In June, he was Winners Dog at the Flagstaff show and followed this up with another Winners Dog award at the Rio Pecos show September 4th and the Santa Fe show September 12th.
Nick was Winners Male, Best of Winners and Best of Breed October 30th at the Arizona American Eskimo UKC multi-breed show #1 under judge Susan Nikkel. He followed this win up at show #2 by going all the way to BEST IN MULTI-BREED SHOW!!!!!!!!!! The judge was Arlene Grimes and this completes his UKC championship.
Nick was Winners Dog, Best of Winners at the Lost Dutchman KC show (3/12) for a 4 point major. What makes this win SO special was that the judge was another Sheltie breeder, Mrs. Joyce Van Kirk.
Nick earned his second major June 11th at the Flagstaff Kennel Club under Mrs Carolyn McKenna. He was Winners Dog, Best Opposite Sex. This gives him a total of 10 points and both majors!
Nick was Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under judge Joe Tacker at the Saturday show in Los Lunas NM.
Nick was Winners Dog, Best of Opposite Sex under judge Mrs Carolyn McKenna at the Saturday Sahuaro State KC show.
Nick finished his AKC championship at the Palm Springs KC show January 6, 2007. The judge was Edweena McDowell.




Turbo

Turbo went to Calgary, Canada to visit Rex & Corrine Rainsforth of Shelgrande Shelties. While there, he and Corrine went to a few shows and it's now CAN CH Sunnyvale- Amore Turbo Diesel!
Turbo came home from Canada to attend a few shows here in the Southwest. He was Winners Dog at the Albuequerque show May 22nd. September 5th, he was Winners Dog at the Rio Pecos show under Col. Joe Purkhiser and in Santa Fe September 11th under Mr. Heitzman.
Turbo was Winners Dog again at the Kachina Kennel Club show under judge Patti Long Smith.
Turbo was awarded Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed by judge Kenneth Buxton April 9, 2005 in Las Vegas.
There was no way, Turbo was going to let Nick get ahead of him in the UKC show ring. Following on his uncle's paw prints, Turbo finished his UKC championship in two weekends of showing. Along the way he earned four Best of Breed awards and one Best In Multiple Breed Show!!!!!!!!
Turbo was Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Sunday show in Los Lunas NM.




Yvette

Yvette attended her first UKC shows April 3rd. She was Winners Female, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at her first show and Winners Female at the second show. This gives her two of the three "competition wins" needed for her UKC championship. She was handled by Francois at both shows.
Unfortunately, we didnt get Yvette's UKC paperwork done in time and her earlier wins wont count. But, she picked up without missing a beat at the show November 12th by earning Winners Female.
Yvette was Winners Female, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under judges Al Orwin and Dennis Blinkenstaff to finish her UKC championship.




Stevie

Stevie has been going to a few shows for practice while still in the puppy classes. She has two Best Puppy in Breed wins and a Puppy Group 4. In addition, she was Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex at the Albuquerque show May 23rd handled by Rebecca Porter (Istari).
Stevie returned to the show ring in Roswell, NM September 2006. Her first weekend out she was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and Herding Group 3rd! The judge was Dr. Robert D. Smith and Stevie was handled by Beki.




Clue

Clue also competed at the fall Arizona UKC shows. In two weekends of showing he has earned two of the three competition wins needed for his championship. Clue is pictured after earning Winners Male, Best of Winners, Best of Breed under Ron Sacca. Then, two weeks later, he was Winners Male, Best of Winners under judge Debbie Orwin. He finished his UKC championship 12/04/05 by earning Winners Male, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under judges Jim and Judy Jones. He was handled to these wins by his cobreeder/coowner, Rebecca Porter.




Mist

While Clue was at the UKC shows, his sister Mist was at the AKC shows with Beki and judge Patti Long Smith awarded her Winners Bitch for a 3 point major!




Cristalle

Cristalle picked up her first AKC points at the Valencia Valley Kennel Club. She was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex. She was handled to this win by Francois.
